DLUs, How They Work
Discipline Leader Updates are weekly updates from leaders of each company vertical. These are designed to help information flow effectively and to ensure we are all aligned through strong communications and updates.
Components include:
Metrics: if there is a short blip on key metrics/KPIs for your group at the top that can help (not mandatory)
Updates: General business happenings from the week.
Accomplishments: Meeting of a key KPI or rock for the company --- these are few and far between but worth celebrating when they happen.
Priorities: what you are working on for the next week.
Concerns: anything of concern you want to call out. YES CALL THESE OUT, concerns help us all understand where we need to focus energy.
DLUs should be simple and 1-2 sheets max. If they take more than 20 minutes to writeup then they're probably too detailed.
